Vitamin Supplements
While there are not many things out there that I would put a significant plug for, this is one of them. My mother started me on USANA vitamins five years ago. Then I started Maylie on them at six months. When we started realizing that something was not quite right about Maylie, we began seeing specialists all over the state. They kept checking her vitamin/mineral levels and were thrown off the idea of CF because she was highly above normal in all areas. These vitamins were so easily absorbable, even by a little girl who was have 8-10 bms a day. I feel so grateful to USANA as they are pharmaceutical grade, environmentally responsible and they were rated number one by the Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements (CGNS), by Lyle MacWillians. The CGNS compares 1500 nutritional products in North America to an independent nutritional benchmark developed from the individual recommendations of 12 recognized nutritional authorities. USANA was awarded the highest distinction possible – the NutriSearch Gold Medal of Achievement. The doctors from our CF clinic found them to be right on target to cover the DEA as well. Maylie takes two a day and that is her only supplement. On a side note, Collette Larsen is a USANA distributor and is one of the greatest individual donor to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She is the mother of an adult daughter who is thriving with CF and sadly lost her other daughter following a bi-lateral transplant in 1995.
Disclaimer: USANA is a network marketing company and while I am dedicated to taking my vitamins, I sadly have not prioritized time to make this a business for myself. So the link goes directly to my mother’s website. Being that this is a network marketing business, if you purchase vitamins from her, I do not benefit from this financially. If you were to sign up as an associate, I would. I don’t want to lose credibility for not disclosing that up front. These are incredible vitamins for CFers and their families or I would not put them on this site.
